Omega-3 & 6 fats are essential elements of human cell membranes that trigger a lot of positive responses in the body, from improving heart health, increasing quotas of good HDL cholesterol, (that tackles bad cholesterol) whilst reducing blood pressure, the unwelcome formation of arterial plaques and the symptoms of depression. Purition is relatively high in all omegas due to its commitment to nutrient-dense, ‘real’ food (flax, chia plus sunflower, hemp and pumpkin seeds). With regards our vegan sub-range, our Omega 6 fatty acid readings are almost twice as those of our Omega 3 fatty acid read-outs.
