Achieving and maintaining remission for a Type 2 Diabetic can be life changing: It would mean sustained, normal blood sugar levels and that you will not need to take medication any further to manage the condition; and Purition can certainly help you on this journey!
Although currently there is no permanent cure for Type 2 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes may successfully be put into remission with the help of:

Type 2 Diabetics wanting to achieve remission should eat a healthy balanced diet, the same as somebody without diabetes. Please stay away from foods marketed as ‘Diabetic’ as these are often calorific, expensive, and unnecessary.

For the other two meals, aim for healthy, balanced meals.

We mean that your diet should consist of real, unprocessed (and minimally processed) foods and be low in saturated fat, high in fibre and adequate amount of protein from good quality sources. Please also include a plenty of non-starchy vegetables and some fruits (aim for berries as those are naturally low in sugar).
Purition is just that; a real food source of protein, healthy fats, fibre and a natural source of vitamins and minerals, with a very small amount of sugar per serving – so it will not negatively affect your blood glucose levels.
People with type 2 diabetes who lose 10% of their body weight (if overweight) within the first five years of diagnosis can double their chances of achieving diabetes remission. As Purition is a small yet very nutritious meal alternative, swapping out a less healthy and perhaps overly calorific meal can help achieve a safe, healthy and sustainable weight loss of 1-2lbs (0.5-1kg) per week. For anyone diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, it is vital to follow the prescribed medical advice to best manage the condition.
